Take a minute and admire the guitar above. It’s the Ibanez S5470 Prestige in Transparent Black Sunburst. It has a mahogany body with two humbuckers and a single coil pickup setup giving you five pickup positions to choose from. Apart from that it has Ibanez’s ZR-2 tremolo, a considerable update to their Zero Point Tremolo. Its smooth, contoured mahogany body is light on weight but heavy in sound where it matters most.
It’s available in Malaysia and can be found in the Bentley Music showroom in near Ikea retailing for RM7000. Now that’s an investment I’m willing to make when I have the means to do so that is. I’m not a virtuoso guitarist, nor am I able to coax this baby into producing sonic dreams but I am in love with it’s aesthetics. Ah well, all good things come to those who wait. In the mean time, I’ll be content to dream a little dream.
